During this event soldiers and civilians in authentic 19th century uniforms and dress will invite the public to spend a day in their life, and to learn about everything from military tactics to cooking to family life during the Civil War. Both the Union and the Confederacy will be represented. The schedule is filled with artillery and troop drills, medical demonstrations, camp life, a 19th century religious service and battles. Proceeds will benefit the preservation of Fort Adams and the Artillery Company of Newport.
