Museum of Military Memorabilia

The museum started out with WWII Aviation displays. The Airport was started to be built in 1942 as Naples Army Airfield Training Base and in December 1943 received it’s Aircraft. The aviation displays include individual uniforms from Army Air Forces, Naval Air Forces, Marine Corps Air Forces, insignia, training manuals, training equipment, aircraft books, field equipment, combat helmets, aviation helmets, goggles, personnel equipment, photo graphs, letters, v-mail, edge weapons, weapons, aircraft equipment, aircraft models some auto-graphed, ship models, WWI 1918 Vickers (Inert) Aircraft Machine-gun, Pre-WWII (Inert) 50cal water cooled anti-aircraft mount Machine-gun, Nor-dent Bomb Sight. In 2013 expanded to hallway with 23 display cases with displays from revolutionary war through Afghanistan and Iraq, with more than 4000 artifacts on permanent display.
