Naples Zoo

The Naples Zoo may not be the biggest zoo in the country. But it does offer some specialized exhibits you won’t find elsewhere. It’s also a lot less pricey than the fancy downtown stores and eateries. The Naples Zoo hosts 10 exhibits and shows, from a guided botanical tour to a Primate Expedition Cruise on a boat that passes islands populated by apes, monkeys and lemurs. Native animals such as black bears and alligators share the spotlight with more unusual residents such as Kangaroos, Wallabies and the Fosa — Madagascar’s catlike predator that’s not in any southeastern zoo.
