Grenon’s of Newport was founded in 2000 by Raymond Grenon, an avid watch collector and jewelry lover. Mr. Grenon has been collecting watches since he was 13 years old and has turned his passion into his profession. Mr. Grenon has worked for some of the largest watch retailers in the country and helped launch a watch magazine devoted to collectors. You can often find one of his articles in several watch publications on topics ranging from business to the intricacies of a watch movement. After working in the watch business in a variety of capacities it was Mr. Grenon’s vision to have his own shop. Not a large mega store that tries to be all things to all people. But a small quaint store where our old and new friends can stop by, have great service, individual attention, and relax! Come in on a Saturday afternoon and you’re likely to see some other aficionados just relaxing and enjoying some of our newest arrivals.
