Step back in time into a little piece of Brooklyn, NY, in the 1950’s-the Dodgers, Do-wop, Sock Hops-not to mention egg creams, shakes and malts, burgers and fries!
Opening its doors in 2003, Brooklyn’s Famous Subs and Pasta is the brainchild of Vicki and Dano Weisse, two “crazy kids” who grew up in the business and had this dream of bringing back the neighborhood malt shop.
Starting with the life sized cut-outs of Elvis and James Dean that greet you from the front window, to the black and white checkered floor, to the red stools and chairs, to the stainless steel fountain and the memorabilia collection adorning the walls, BFS&P aims to re-create the good feelings of a simpler time.
But the fun doesn’t stop there…
In addition to all the old favorites, Vicki and Dano added their own home-made treats: a wide variety of fresh pastas and sauces, two foot long sub sandwiches, gourmet salads and much much more.
